So this is going to be really short.  Today I did almost nothing, I just let jet lag take over. We’ve been running so hard the past few days, my body needed today to adjust. So I tried to sleep in this morning (instead I was up at 6). I got ready slowly and then met up with some friends for breakfast around 10. I returned back to my room and hung out for a couple hours. Around noon I went out with some friends to go around the city. Atiana needed a new phone, so that was our first priority.

Around 3, I said goodbye and went to meet one of my housing agents to look at an apartment. Unfortunately, we had some miscommunication. He had been telling me about an apartment in the Chongwenmen area, which is close to my school. But he also told me about an apartment in Choayangmen, which is pretty far. We decided to meet to go see one of the apartments this afternoon. I thought we were looking at one in Chongwenmen, but we were actually going to Chaoyangmen. So we were at different stations. When he called me and explained, I felt terrible. I had never even noticed that one of them was in Chaoyangmen. I had to tell him that was too far for me, so we didn’t even meet up. I just went back to the hotel.

Later in the evening, I was planning to meet up with an older EF teacher who is trying to find a new renter for her apartment. Before then, though, I decided to take a nap. When I woke up, I did not feel well. My head was hurting and my stomach felt funky. I contacted her and asked if we could reschedule for tomorrow or another day this week. She completely understood, saying she’d been in my position before. Because I didn’t go, I ended up falling asleep at 6:30 or so. Now I’ve woken up, but all I want to do is go back to sleep.

I’m not adding words to remember today. I know, I’m terrible, but I’m exhausted! Maybe I’ll do double tomorrow.

Goodnight!
Bless,
Kristen
