Hello!
So today’s post is going to be a little different. I’m just going to write a quick overview of my day and then Taylor and I have a few vlog videos for you guys. We took these while walking, so they’re a little bit shaky. I hope you guys don’t get seasick easily. I’ve never tried this before, so we’ll see how it goes.
Today was another training day. We learned how to use our software and about the materials used to teach High Flyers. High Flyers are kids ages 7-10 and a lot of their stuff is more bookwork based than Small Stars. After we learned about those two subjects, each of us and a partner were given one part of a lesson plan. Working together, we had to teach that part of the lesson for 20 minutes in front of other teachers and a trainer. Afterwards, we received positive feedback and constructive criticism. I was dreading it a little before hand, but it was really fun.
After training, Taylor and I finished our homework and then headed back to our hotel. Once we arrived, we decided to try and find this dumpling cart another teacher had told us about. It was during this time that we took these vlogs. Take a few minutes to watch. I think they’re kinda funny.
Let’s Try Vlogging
Also, for those who want to know, we never did actually find dumplings. Instead we ordered pizza and watched a movie in Taylor’s room to finish off the night. And now I’m exhausted.
Goodnight, all!
Bless,
Kristen
